Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef or sausage
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of cheddar or cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 bag (8–12 oz) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 bag frozen tater tots or cooked egg noodles (your choice!)
- Optional: frozen peas or corn
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a skillet, cook onion and meat until browned. Drain excess grease.
- In a large bowl, mix cooked meat, both soups, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and half the cheese. Add optional veggies here if using.
- Layer the mixture in a greased 9×13 baking dish.
- If using noodles, stir them in before spreading into the pan.
- If using tater tots, pour mixture in first, then arrange tots on top.
- Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top.
- Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
