Pull up a chair.

You don’t have to have it all figured out before you sit down.

If we were sitting at my kitchen table right now, I wouldn’t start by trying to sell you something.

I’d probably ask what brought you here. What’s feeling heavy? What are you trying to change? What are you dreaming about that maybe you haven’t said out loud yet?

Because I’ve been the mom trying to figure out the home, the kids, the money, the faith, the dreams, and myself somewhere in the middle of all of it too.

So grab your coffee. Tell me where you’re at. We’ll figure out your next step together. ♡

Let’s find what you need ↓

A Little About Me

Hey, I’m Tamara.

And I’m figuring this out, too.

I’m raising five boys with my husband in a tiny Iowa town, homeschooling around real life, building income from our kitchen table, trying to grow closer to God, and learning that creating a meaningful life doesn’t always look very impressive while you’re in the middle of it.

I’ve spent a lot of years trying to figure out how to be a good mom, a good wife, build something of my own, help our family financially, keep a house somewhat functioning, and somehow still be a whole person underneath all of those roles.

I don’t have a perfectly organized house. I don’t have all the answers. And there are approximately 900 unfinished ideas living in my brain at any given moment.

But I’ve learned some things along the way. And that’s what I share here.

The things that have helped our family. The things I’m still figuring out. The things that made life easier. The ways I’ve made money. The homeschool experiments that worked (and the ones that absolutely did not). The faith conversations. The recipes. The messy middle.

Basically, if I’ve learned something that might make your road a little easier, I’m probably going to tell you about it. ♡

You Don’t Have To Know Yet

You don’t have to figure out your whole life today.

Maybe right now you don’t need another plan. Maybe you just need enough room to hear yourself think.

A quiet afternoon resting on the back deck

One of my boys, curled up on our back deck after we left the public school system. Sometimes the next step is simply giving yourself room to breathe.

There have been seasons when I thought I needed to have every answer before I could make a change.

The perfect plan. The perfect timing. A guarantee that whatever we tried next would work.

But so much of the life we’re building didn’t happen that way. We made one decision. Then another. We gave ourselves room to breathe when we needed it. We changed our minds. We tried things. We kept what worked. We let go of what didn’t.

You don’t have to fix your faith, your finances, your home, your homeschool, your relationships, your dreams, and yourself all at once.

You don’t need seventeen new things on your list. And you definitely don’t need to become an entirely different woman by Tuesday.

You can start exactly where you are, with what you have, and take the next step that makes sense for this season.

You are allowed to build your life one decision at a time. ♡

For Right Now

Pick one thing.

Not everything that needs fixing. Not everything you want someday. Just one thing that would make this season feel a little lighter, calmer, stronger, or more like the life you actually want to live.

Pick one thing. Take one step. See what changes.
